Century 21 Real Estate LLC is a real estate franchise company founded in 1971 by Art Bartlett and Marsh Fisher, two real estate agents in Orange County, California. The company went public in 1977 and was purchased by Metropolitan Life Insurance in 1984. The company then became a part of HSF, which later became Cendant in 1995. The Century 21 System is comprised of over 8,100 independently owned and operated offices with more than 140,000 sales professionals worldwide, in more than 68 countries and territories.
There has been a Century 21 Franchise in the Area since the mid 1970’s and has been a part of the communities that it serves for those many years. Weisflog Realtors became the first franchise in 1977 and was based in . Later the company expanded into , , and . In the fall of 1985 the Jefferson franchise was sold and became Century 21 The Realty Search. Century 21 The Realty Search later opened a second office in in the late 1980’s. Then in 1992 the offices were split and the Jefferson Office was sold and became Century 21 Integrity Group.
